Sorbitol manufacturing

Wet-milling glucose serves as a raw material for the production of technical, food or pharmaceutical sorbitol in concentrated form.
The glucose solution is hydrolysed inside the reactor. The raw sorbitol solution is then purified using ion-exchange and evaporated to the final concentration.
